Ishita and the family somehow managed to stop Raman while Bala informs the police. Ruhi finally relates her entire ordeal to the family and to her father. Ishita now backed by the entire family asks Ruhi to speak up for herself. Raman grabs Ruhi away as he shouts at Ishita. Raman runs to the door screaming why Ishita has to involve his daughter in all of this. Ruhi beats up Nikhil left and right while Simmi who watches by the door runs to inform Raman (Karan Patel) with the intention of instigating Raman against Ishita. Ruhi takes up the log and begins to beat up a surprised Nikhil who was sure that Ruhi is too scared to react. She takes a log and beats up Nikhil while asking Ruhi who stands aside scared to do the same. Ishita pushes Nikhil off Ruhi and hits him. Nikhil walks in and tries to scare Ruhi while Ishita interrupts. Ishita forgets her bag and leaves Ruhi at the door to get her bag. Romi happily obliges to become a coolie for her. She then makes him carry both the heavy shopping bags. They almost prepare to beat Romi up when Mihika intervenes after a while of enjoying the scene. The people around find them arguing and think that Romi is trying to flirt with Mihika. Romi finds Mihika buying vegetables and asks her if he should help her carry the bags.
Romi is elated as he follows her to the market. He asks Toshi who tells him that Mihika has gone to the market. Romi searches around for Mihika as he is in a mood to be a bit more romantic. Ishita gives her courage saying she is with Ruhi throughout and she has to fight so that Nikhil gets his due. Ruhi is though doubtful and says that it has been so long and they should not drag the matter further. She asks Ruhi to go with her so they can complain against Nikhil. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein today has Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) fighting for closure for what Ruhi (AditI Bhatia) has faced.
